Dr. Josh Wilson was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He surrendered his life to Jesus at the age of 10 and to fulltime vocational ministry in his freshman year of college. Josh attended the University of Alabama for his bachelor’s degree and then went on to complete a Masters of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a doctorate from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Josh has been in fulltime ministry for over 21 years serving in the various roles of youth pastor, senior pastor, and as an Assistant Director of a Christian non-profit ministry as well. Since October of 2022, Josh has served as Senior Pastor at Southside Baptist Church in Andalusia, Alabama. Josh has three sons: Ridge(19), Cade(17), and Pate (15) and a soon to be step-son, Turner (11). He is currently engaged to his fiancée, Lorrie, and looks forward to the Lord’s gracious gift of a blended family on November 1, 2025!
