First Baptist Church is honored to have been part of the Silverhill community for close to 125 years. We feel that our purpose is to care for people in ways that let our light shine before others to point them to Christ. Imperfect as we are, we love deeply and desire to be of service wherever we can.

Our congregation is a unique mix of young and old. While our “worship style” is blended, with both hymns and more contemporary music, the Gospel message is central to each and every service.
